AnyToISO 3.5
AnyToISO is a straightforward application that allows you to create and extract image files. Though ISO is the only output format supported, it is only one of the many image and archive file formats that this program can extract and convert to ISO for you. This wide array of formats includes NRG, MDF, BIN, CDI, IMG, ZIP, RAR, 7Z, and TAR.
Its simple interface makes this a useful tool for all types of users. This 3-tab tiny interface offers you the possibility of extracting an existing image, converting this image into an ISO image file, and of creating a new ISO archive either using the contents of a CD/DVD or a folder of your choice. The first of these processes is especially useful, as we may get image files in one of the many proprietary archive formats out there while some of the most popular disc burning programs only accept ISO as input for image-to-disc burning tasks. This way, we can convert the unsupported image file into a standard ISO archive without extracting its contents – which sometimes results in a loss of information. Each of the processes is performed in a fast and efficient way, always producing excellent results.
There is no much more to it than these three or four straightforward processes. Some will find the overall functionality a bit scarce when compared with other ISO-related utilities, but many others will be very happy to have an extremely easy-to-use tool that performs as promised and that doesn’t require you to be a rocket scientist to enjoy it.
